Hello! I haven’t posted since the beginning of the year, so I thought it was time. 🙂 ) 2025 has been full of changes. I decided to go back to school for web design in January. I’ve been designing websites (including this one 🙂 ) for years, but have relied mainly on WordPress templates* since I didn’t know how to write code. Wanting to have more options and control over design and function, I decided to take a program to learn coding. It was something I had thought about off and on for years, but didn’t have the confidence to take the step until this year.
While it has had its share of challenges, the main learning has not come from the school’s curriculum. It has come from the self healing that I have needed to do and go through – make mistakes, have successes, move forward, grow, and consciously and unconsciously change, that has been the real learning. The insecurities and limiting beliefs that I have needed to confront, let go of, and overcome have been significant. The majority of my life I have believed that I wasn’t smart enough to do math or “technical things.” This, of course, included coding!
Well, succeeding at creating a beautiful website using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, proved myself, the old programming, and lying thoughts wrong! I would love to share the site with you, but we had actual “clients” that we created sites for, and I don’t know when they want to unveil it. But I made it, trust me! It took lots of hours, dedication, late nights, early mornings, frustration (including audibly), and joy, sweat, and tears to make it! Accompanying my physical efforts were the no-effort spiritual meditation techniques I use. So glad I had them to soften my body’s challenges, and make them easier, including changing well programmed unsupportive self talk into encouraging, gentle, kind words. Turning the voice of the self destructive “mean kid” into the voice of a supportive, caring, compassionate, true friend. Meditation and doing energy work using simple, powerful, meditative, visualization techniques helped me every step of the way!
I know I probably sound like a broken record, since I talk about meditation a lot, but the techniques I practice really helped me with this process. They helped me to let go of ingrained beliefs and lies that were getting in my way, as well as changing hindering, negative self talk. By letting go of blocks and misinformation, including other people’s opinions and beliefs, I then had a clean slate. I had fresh space, and room to replace the old with the new – new thoughts, beliefs, and my own truths in the present. This healing process has also taken my focus, commitment, resiliance, and of course, time.
The meditation techniques I use and share help me with healing projects, as mentioned, as well as assisting and supporting me every single day! With major life changes, and small, daily tasks, as well as unexpected, potentially stressful happenings. Such as breaking a glass that shatters on the floor, which happened recently. My body initially panicked because my dog friend, Rock was in the same room and I didn’t want him to step on any of the chards! OMG! So glad I was able to calm my body down. Focusing on my breathing and using my techniques (with my eyes both opened and closed) especially increasing my grounding, centering, and releasing energy, helped to relax and reassure my body. Then, together we could more calmly take the necessary steps needed. I’m happy to report that no animals were harmed in the cleaning up of glass. Yay!
The style of meditation that I practice and teach can help you, like they help me. If you ever experience anxiety, being overwhelmed, frozen by fear, self-doubt, confusion or other discomforts, using these visualization techniques, even for a few moments, can help.
Meditation has been scientifically proven to reduce stress, anxiety, depression, lower blood pressure, and more! Meditating can literally help you calm your body’s nervous system. Remember that when your body starts to experience stress and anxiety. The techniques I use are tools for meditation, and every day living, as shared above, helping to lessen stress, build confidence, and gain certainty in your decisions, and in yourself. Doesn’t that sound appealing? It really works!
In addition to anything personal any of us are going through, all that is going on in our country and on our planet can evoke fear in our bodies. This fear can lead to experiencing anxiety and other disturbances. It can seem overwhelming and hard to get out of at times. Other emotions may be prevalent too, such as sadness, grief, anger, fury, and more. That is all energy that can you can learn to gain more control over, vs. it controlling you and your choices and behaviors. It is energy that can be released and lessened, if desired.
Since starting to use these unique, lesser known meditation techniques, I experience anxiety and stress much less often. But if my body ever starts to feel it coming on, I focus more in the present moment and use my techniques and the anxiety dissipates. It’s such a relief! It’s amazing, and wonderful!
This form of meditation is the foundation of all that I do. It has helped me so much it is important to me, that I share it with others. That includes YOU! It can even help enhance your relationships, including having clearer communication with your animal friends!

*The first website I designed was using Dreamweaver. I took a class many years ago that taught how to use Adobe design software. I don’t remember having an actual template, but I didn’t need to know how to code. Which worked out great, since I didn’t know how! 🙂 Here is my original site, WildTame.com, originally built back in 2007. WARNING! It’s huge with tons of pages, so enjoy the journey if you decide to check it out. I couldn’t access this site for many years, as there was a glitch somewhere in the files, and have since built all sites, for myself and others, in WordPress, as mentioned above. Since being able to access WildTame.com again a couple months ago, I’ve been slowly updating the content, though some of the content is still quite outdated or needs fixing.
