Long Distance Readings, Healings and Animal Communication Sessions

I lived in southern California for eight years and so there is a lot of information about me online from my work there. People that have received readings and animal communications from me while I lived there still contact me too.

In relation to the services I offer, it doesn’t matter where I physically live. Or where you live either. I offer long distance sessions for anyone, anywhere. By tuning into energy using my abilities of clairvoyance, telepathic communication and other skills, that are often referred to as “gifts” I am able to obtain, interpret and relay information to humans and animals, alike. While these abilities are “gifts”, they are gifts that we all have. What makes me different is that I have been consciously developing these capabilities for over thirty years. Additionally, I have always been aware of the spiritual realm. Since I was a child I knew there were spirits that were around us, including scaring me under the bed! I could tell when someone was lying to me or keeping information from me. I also was aware of communication from my pets, including when my animal friend passed on.

Nature is many people’s church. I know I feel great joy when I am still, sitting or walking among trees and other natural beauty.

I have had a lot of jobs, worn many different hats and have worked in a variety of environments. Did you know that in addition to my love of animals and writing, I am a wedding officiant?

It’s true! I performed my first wedding in 1990 in Washington State. I am still able to legally marry people in Washington, California and most other states including Oregon, where I currently reside.

I believe there are many paths to God and honor all faiths. If you are agnostic or atheist, I also perform civil ceremonies and have done so many times. Personally, I do believe without a doubt that God exists. That is my personal belief. It may not match your beliefs or information, but God is a huge part of my life. This belief and my relationship with God helps me feel supported. It makes my life easier at times and definitely more fulfilling. But if that is not your feeling and it is other beliefs that feel right to you, then okay!

This is a challenging world. My spiritual beliefs help me tremendously in sad or tough times and help my life to be more joyous in happy times. They work for me. I want this for everyone. Fulfilling happiness in their and your lives. So if it is other beliefs that make sense to you and help you feel supported, then I support them! Different things work for different people.

Meditation has helped me and continues to help me in all aspects of my life.

I encourage you to find a style of meditation that works for you.

For example, there are many styles of meditation. The type of meditation that I was blessed enough to learn when I was 18 years old worked for me. It helped me to see that there was another way to live. I didn’t have to live in darkness. I didn’t have to be depressed or drink to feel better. These same techniques continue to work for me and are tools to help me in all aspects of my life.

Everything is energy. Physicists have proven this fact and I believe it too! The type of meditation that I practice and teach provides tools to consciously release unwanted energies. This includes pain, grief, guilt, fear, doubt and any other energy that may effect us in adverse ways.

While it has been in hiatus for a few months, I plan on reintroducing my Meditation Club down the road. If you are interested in being notified when that happens, let me know. Living Your Life

Earth.

Life on Earth can be many things. Joyous is one of the options.

There are so many things to do in this world. Everyday, in so many different areas of our lives, we put pressure on ourselves and allow others to apply pressure also. Expectations can cause stress, anxiety and fear. They can freeze us and keep us from living joyfully and truly living our lives. Other people’s expectations add to our own. While they may motivate us, they also invalidate us.

Whether verbally spoken or silently and perhaps passive aggressively given to us, expectations are seldom met. They are sometimes seemingly met and sometimes even exceeded. One thing that can lead to unmet expectations is unclear communication and the fact that we are each individuals.

We can use examples as simple as how to place the toilet paper on the roll. Do you like the paper over or under the roll? How about the infamous toothpaste question. Do you squeeze the tube from the bottom, the middle, the top? These are things that can lead to arguments, as opinions differ. In reality, who is to say what the “right” way is. I’m here to say… who cares!

toilet paper on rollThere are much more important things in this world than the flow of toilet paper and toothpaste! I would rather be happy and spread happiness than be anxiety ridden and share that anxiety. I feel that often in this physical human world, we are taught to blame others. We are taught to judge and with judgment often comes meanness. With meanness there is seldom joy and happiness. Even if being mean gives someone satisfaction and a feeling of power, those aren’t signs of being happy. A “feeling” of power is not actually power. It is the stroking of an ego.

My perception of ego may be different than some people’s. We all have an ego. We can grow it or diminish it. Ego isn’t a “bad” thing, it is simply ” a thing.” Something that we all have. Our ego is a collection of our stored pain. Invalidation, criticism, loneliness, heartache and physical, sexual, emotional and other types of abuse are all forms of pain. There are many ways to deal with our pain. One way is to simply to not deal with. To forget it’s there, ignore it, bury it deep underneath a smile or a frown and live our lives not acknowledging the hurts inside. Some people lash out at others instead of dealing with their pain. Others turn it on themselves, beating themselves up with little room for self-forgiveness. Do any of these behaviors sound familiar? Maybe you have some other ways of moving forward with the existence of pain. Keeping busy is a favorite way to avoid our pain in our fast moving, multi-tasking, accomplishment oriented human society.

While we may all be able to find times when we have experienced all of these modes of dealing or not dealing with our pain, what would you say if I told you you can actually let it go? We can not change what has happened, but we can change our relation to past experiences and how they effect us. We can also release stored emotions and pain energy allowing us to be more neutral and less judgmental of ourselves and those around us. Instead of punishing ourselves and others for not being perfect or living up to those pesky, rigid expectations, we can learn. Every situation is an opportunity for learning. Giving ourselves and others room to learn allows for movement instead of stagnation. It creates space for love instead of instilling fear.

I know people and you probably do to, that use invalidation to control others. It is a way these individuals have learned to get others to do what they want. It is also a way to punish, intimidate and exert power over another. They may use a condescending tone or not verbally say anything at all. Instead they may communicate their judgement by sharing their opinion through telepathic thoughts, invading others with their energy, give a disapproving look or avoid interactions all together. Living in a highly judgmental society, we have all learned to judge. Because of this, it is safe to say, we have all done our share of judging at one time or another. Or many times and many others. 🙂

These meditation techniques also help us to let go of energy we no longer want. Physicists agree that everything is energy. Absolutely everything! Our thoughts, emotions, expectations and judgments are all energy! Other people’s thoughts, opinions and expectations are also energy. Anyone’s energy, ours’ or others’, can effect us. But we can decide what energy we want to keep and what we want to let go of. There is freewill for each of us. Let others live their lives how they want to. You get to choose how YOU want to live yours. You do not need permission from anyone to be happy. As Beaverton, Oregon’s own Nike encourages us, “Just Do It!”

I Love Seattle!

Anyone that knows me knows how much I love Seattle! Not just Seattle, but Western Washington in general. Although an abundant list of important learning and lessons have come my way while living in San Diego, I often missed certain things about Washington. Number one being the lush greenery a.k.a. TREES!

In addition to the green beauty, there are rivers, waterfalls, creeks, snow capped mountains, the blue waters of Puget Sound, wildlife and just all around loveliness!

I have had the joyous privilege of seeing some of the most beautiful landscapes the earth has to offer. Many in person. Others in photographs and videos. However, I definitely haven’t seen them all! There are so many breathtaking sights in nature and there is nothing like taking them in up close and personal.

I love Mother Earth! The form of meditation that I practice and teach helps me and others to be more in touch with the Earth. This includes the easy to use, but powerful, meditative visualization technique of grounding.

Grounding is the foundation of all that I do. Similar to how roots are the foundation of trees. Roots ground the tree, giving it stability and strength. It is the roots that allow trees to live. Roots provide trees with the capacity to absorb water through their entire growing body. Roots help trees and other plants to flourish. Grounding can help you and your body in the same way!

When in doubt, literally and figuratively, I ground! The other day, I was having a tough time. I was upset and having a hard time talking myself out of it. Ever have one of those moments?! 😉 Anyway, I sat down to meditate. I grounded and then began to use additional techniques including, centering, releasing energy, running energy and more! I felt a little better, but still was feeling overwhelmed and extremely emotional. It wasn’t until I slowed down enough to just focus on my grounding that I began to feel better. In fact, I felt instantly better with this sole focus.

We have such a busy world and have become so used to doing more, more and then still more! Our plates are beyond full and our capacity for multitasking is truly amazing. We are capable of doing so much that it is easy to get swept up in the complexity of doing. As I sat there meditating and adding technique upon technique upon technique, I was trying to do more to solve my problems. As our society gains technological advancements, the concept that more is better seems confirmed. So instead of taking the time to gently and calmly experience each individual, beneficial technique I hurriedly tried to feel better by making my simple meditation complex. I wanted to get out of where I was and tried digging myself out by piling more on!

Slowing down to ground and focus exclusively on my grounding was the secret. How often are we trying to be more productive, successful and achieve more? By doing and doing and doing, we certainly can accomplish. However, when we take the time to slow down instead of using our time to speed up and spread ourselves out into multiple places, we actually can complete more. We can do so with less stress and frantic feelings and more peace and a sense of fulfillment. And even joy! We can have fun while we do! Doing can be fun and I have found that doing less often is more effective and doing “nothing” is sometimes essential.

A Time of Illness has Other Meanings

I have been home in bed the last couple of days, recovering from what I could call illness, but instead will call what it is… my body wanting me to slow down! When I am ill I take extra time for myself. I rest in bed, sleep and sleep and sleep. It also gives me extra time to meditate, as well as cuddle with my favorite dog companion, Rock. All in all, my life calms down and is quiet when I am ill.

We live in such a busy world and technologically advanced, fast moving society. I enjoy regular meditation times and quiet moments of reflection and self healing. But I admittedly often push myself to do more than my body wants me to. I have slowed down in recent years following the deaths of my Grandma and my dog, Ginger. From them I took the lesson of taking time to smell the roses and cherish moments with the special someones in your life. It is also of the utmost importance to take sufficient time for your body and yourself, as spirit.

Meditation can help you to find and follow your unique path. It is a self healing journey.

Even with the lessons I have learned, I sometimes fall back into old patterns. If I am an irresponsible parent and not attentive to my body’s needs, it rebels! It knows I will rest, nurture it and focus more on it when it doesn’t feel well. My body and I have had this pattern for years. I have gotten much better at taking care of it, so it doesn’t have to get my attention in this way as often. But here we are once again. So obviously, I am still working on changing this habit of mine.

I feel much better today, which is why I am writing this blog post. I feel more energetic tonight after sleeping all day yesterday and then resting today. I spent time meditating and healing myself, which of course helped me to further relax and let go of energies not in harmony with me. The physical rest and spiritual energy work helped my body feel better.

Meditation has helps me to feel better, create change and be more content in my life.

The meditation techniques that I practice and share with others have been on the planet for a very long time. They were taught in the Ancient Mystery Schools in Egypt, where it is said that Jesus spent time and was an initiate. I, however, learned these techniques here in the United States in classes at a teaching center in Everett, Washington, just north of Seattle. If you are not able to visit their Washington State location, they offer books, CDs and downloadable information to assist in your meditations and healing journey.

I teach the techniques I practice and enjoy sharing these life changing tools with others.
